Birthday Layouts

I made these layouts to match my granddaughters birthday cakes using Create a Critter cuts.  The letters were cut using Gypsy Font and then I just altered them.  I did machine sew around all of the photo mats with purple thread.

Birthday Party Decorations

My grandbabies had their birthday party yesterday. The baby turned 1 on March 5th and her big sister turned 3 on March 7th.  They are growing up fast! Their parents rented a gym for the party and had a blow up bouncy slide and  cotton candy machine.  The party turned out great! I think everyone had a good time. I made the decorations using my Cricut and Create a Critter cart.  I also made the lollipop flowers using the George cart. I didn't take many pics of the decorations for some reason. I had also made a birthday banner that I didn't take any pics of :(   We ordered the cakes   from a local woman. We gave her a few of our Cricut cuts to show her how we were decorating and she just did an awesome job!!

Valentine from past

Ok, I have no idea why this pic will not rotate : (  This is a card I made for my youngest daughter last Valentine's Day. I used several different Cricut carts for the fonts.

Craft Room Update

Here's what I've been up to lately.  Scrap room makeover!!  It did not quite come out to the color that I had in my head :(  I was hoping for an aqua green blue color.  But I'll live with it for a while. At least it is fresh and clean.  I used my Christmas money and bought my first JetMaxx cubes.  Love em!! I even have a few empty drawers.  I did paint my armoire and my desk black.  I am going to paint my table top on the cubes black as well.  I wanted a quote on the wall and was out of  black vinyl so I just used cardstock and stuck it to the wall with atg tape.  I still need something on one wall but haven't decided what to put there yet.  Oh yeh, I forgot to tell ya I am a tight wad! To cheap to by the cropper hopper things for my 12x12 paper cause I didn't have a coupon the day I went shopping.  So I cut up the boxes my JetMaxx cubes came in resized them and covered them with fabric and wrapping paper. Lol

Pull my finger!

I wanted a cool way to give my nephews money for Christmas so I came up with this.  I taped 20 $1.00 bills together end to end, rolled them up and wrapped them in the box.  On one end I made a hand from Everyday Paper Dolls holding a "pull my finger" sign.  On the other end I put a sign that says "Hope you have a stinkin' good Holiday!" I know I have a warped sense of humor : )  Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Recipe Album

Since it was marathon baking day around here I thought I would add they cute recipe albums I made.  These were inspired by Mary at cardztv.  Here is her link. http://cardztv.blogspot.com/2010/12/holiday-cookbook-album-part-3.html     I made the top one for myself and the bottom album I gave to my mom.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the font and welded them together using my gypsy. Storybook for the scalloped square on the front of the album. To make the tab pages I used a rectangle from George and welded a scalloped square from Storybook. Thanks for looking and have a great Holiday!!

Craft Show 2010

I know it has been a month since I posted last.  It seems I spent every waking minute that I was not at work in my craft room getting ready for this craft show.  I told myself I would not wait until the last minute.  I don't know where all my time went :-(  But all is good.  My goal was to at least make my booth rental back.  I did that plus a little extra.  I definitely do not get rich doing this and my husband thinks I'm crazy but it is something I enjoy : )
