Minnie Mouse Layout

We went to Disney World in July 2009 and I just printed our pix. I don't know why it took me so long to get them printed! But I did catch a good sale at Walgreen and got over 200 pix printed and sent to my house for $18.00.  I haven't done a layout in a long time so it will probably take me a while to get in the groove. Anyway here is the first of many.  The I used my gypsy and George to make the Mickey head in the upper left corner and added the bow. I ran the mats thru the Cuttlebug and added stickles to the white polka dots

3x3 Cards with purse

I have been wanting to make a 3x3 card set for a while. I finally got a chance to make one this afternoon.  The colors are not really showing up very well in this pic but it is lavender and white. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the purse but I did do some adjustment with my Gypsy.  Dream is from Gypsy Wonderings and the scalloped square is from Storybook.  I ran the square through the Cuttlebug using Divine Swirls. That is one of my favorite folders.  I did a zig zag stitch around the edges. Don't look to close at that. lol.  I wasn't paying attention to all the adhesive I was using and when I went to sew on the cards my needle got all gummed up.  I think it still turned out ok to use as a pattern.

First fondant cake

My daughter is on a roll!  This is her first fondant cake. It's hard to tell by the picture but it is square.
It's a four layer french vanilla cake with buttercream icing under the fondant.

Thank you card by my daughter

Here is a thank you card that my daughter made for one of her friends moms for taking her to the local water park. She made the flip flop out of a shape she found on the gypsy font cart. Shift, shadow bottom row 2nd from left. I think its suppose to be a comma. Then she ran the bottom layer through the crimper.  I think she did an awesome job!
