Band Treat Bags

I know it has been forever and a day since I posted last. My desktop died and I haven't been able to log on. Anyway our youngest daughter has started High School and is in marching band. It has been a very busy season for us. I am kinda said it's over : (  I made these treat bags for the band members for Homecoming. I did not take a picture of the back but it had images of a peace sign, heart and music note. ( Peace, Love, Band) Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be up and posting regular again soon. Day of the week monkey

My niece is teaching preschool this year and wanted me to make this for her classroom.  I used Create a Critter for the monkey and did a little surgery on his arm. LOL. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the letters cut out in vinyl. She is going to laminate it and use velcro to switch out the days of the week.

Ok, so my niece started her school year. She said everyday when the kids sat down to talk about the day of the week the kids would say "the monkey has no pants, monkey naked!"  So yes. I had to make the monkey some pants! I hope those silly kids are happy now! LOL

Spring Layout

Add caption
It's spring! Yay, I love spring!!  I just took a picture of the granddaughters looking oh so cute in their spring matching dresses. (To bad they were running all over the yard and ignoring me so I didn't get a cute photo for this!) Lol. In this layout I used Gypsy Wanderings for the bunny.  Storybook for the scalloped oval that I adjusted in my Gypsy. And A Child's Year for Spring.  The paper is K & Co, that I picked up a few years ago at Tuesday Mornings for  $1.99 for the whole stack!!  They had quite a few different stacks. And yes I did kick myself several times since for not stocking up on the stacks they had that day.  I have went back several times since then and have never again found such good deals. I also did some machine sewing on the mats.  Thanks for looking and wish me luck getting those 2 little girls to hold still long enough for me to snap a pic!

My First Video!

All right, here is my first video ever!!  My youngest daughter has been begging me to post a video on my blog since she got her flip camera 2 years ago for Christmas. So, here it is.  I love Twilight and just had to have this paper :) So my friend picked up for me when it first came out! Thanks Debbie! I actually made this album a while ago and just made the video today. (After hours and hours of learning how to post a video!) Thanks Brogan for editing and uploading this for your very awesome mother. haha! Just ignore the old, decrepid looking hands! Lol

Birthday Layouts

I made these layouts to match my granddaughters birthday cakes using Create a Critter cuts.  The letters were cut using Gypsy Font and then I just altered them.  I did machine sew around all of the photo mats with purple thread.

Birthday Party Decorations

My grandbabies had their birthday party yesterday. The baby turned 1 on March 5th and her big sister turned 3 on March 7th.  They are growing up fast! Their parents rented a gym for the party and had a blow up bouncy slide and  cotton candy machine.  The party turned out great! I think everyone had a good time. I made the decorations using my Cricut and Create a Critter cart.  I also made the lollipop flowers using the George cart. I didn't take many pics of the decorations for some reason. I had also made a birthday banner that I didn't take any pics of :(   We ordered the cakes   from a local woman. We gave her a few of our Cricut cuts to show her how we were decorating and she just did an awesome job!!
