Spring Layout

Add caption
It's spring! Yay, I love spring!!  I just took a picture of the granddaughters looking oh so cute in their spring matching dresses. (To bad they were running all over the yard and ignoring me so I didn't get a cute photo for this!) Lol. In this layout I used Gypsy Wanderings for the bunny.  Storybook for the scalloped oval that I adjusted in my Gypsy. And A Child's Year for Spring.  The paper is K & Co, that I picked up a few years ago at Tuesday Mornings for  $1.99 for the whole stack!!  They had quite a few different stacks. And yes I did kick myself several times since for not stocking up on the stacks they had that day.  I have went back several times since then and have never again found such good deals. I also did some machine sewing on the mats.  Thanks for looking and wish me luck getting those 2 little girls to hold still long enough for me to snap a pic!

Break a Leg!

My daughter is in the fall play this year.  Last night was her first performance.  She did a great job if I do say so myself :)  I made a little something for the cast. I used
A Child's Year for both the bone and the tag. I did not get a pic of the whole batch but here are a few.

You've been BOO'ed

I know this has been done for years. But this is the first year I have ever Boo'ed anyone! I had made up three bags for my youngest daughter and I to pass out.  She had a blast "ding, dong, ditching" haha.  I think I scored some brownie points for still being a cool mom.  And that's pretty hard to come by when your 14 year old will think your cool. Anyway, each included a candle that I tied a ribbon around.  A cocoa slider made with the Cuttlebug and  the Swiss Dot folder. The spider is from Paper Doll Dress Up. Frankenstien is a package of cookies. I cut his hair free hand and used Plantin to cut out the circles for his eyes.  For the bag I cut the moon from Plantin and the witch is from A Child's Year.

Slot Machine Explosion Box

This is the second explosion box that I have made.  On this one instead of having multiple layers I decided to add a 3-D object. (Sorry, the lighting in my craft room is not the greatest for taking pics.) I think it turned out pretty cool. I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard for the box and lid.  The Cricut cuts are from George and Accent Essentials.

Water Bottles

I picked these bottles up at our Walmart. They were on clearance for $1.00.  I used white contact paper.  For the pink bottle I used Gypsy Wonderings.  The green one I used A Child's Year and Stone Script and the blue one I used Everyday Paper Dolls, George and A Child's Year.

I made this card using my new A Child's Year cart.  I made this one kind of simple thinking that I may send it to my Grandpa so I did not want it to be to girly looking.  It is very hard for me not to add and bling, stickles or flowers to anything I create.  I love this paper pack from K&Co.  It is very thick and double sided.  You can't tell from the picture but I did layer the sillouette on with pop dots with a shadow behind the image.
